Ingredient Notes for the Recipe

  • If you want the dirt cups to be exactly as mine, make sure to use the same ingredients. I have most of them linked in the recipe card for your convenience below in blue. Also, free to swap out the yogurt or milk with dairy free options if you need too. I like Forager Project Cashew Yogurt and Malk Milk dairy free oat milk.
  • I highly recommend using Just Ingredients Protein Powder After years of trying multiple different protein powders, hers is the only one I will continue to buy. Each protein powder mix contains not just whey protein but pea protein, pumpkin seed protein, chia seed protein and collagen protein for easier digestion and nutrients. There are no artificial sweeteners, dyes or preservatives as well. Just real ingredients. I am an affiliate because I love the products so much so make sure and use my code COOKIEECLUB to save 10% off your order if you decide to try Just Ingredients out.

Recipe Variations

  • Try using another flavor of protein powder to jazz things up. These protein parfaits would be really yummy using creamy chocolate peanut butter protein powder, strawberry protein powder, mint chocolate protein powder or even a salted caramel protein powder.
  • If you are not a fan of greek yogurt and need something a little sweeter, try using my Easy and Creamy Chocolate Pudding Recipe instead. It is made using milk, coconut sugar, arrowroot powder, organic cocoa powder, vanilla extract and butter. When using in place of the protein pudding let the warm pudding cool for about 10 minutes. Then mix the pudding with a whisk and continue to layer the dirt cups as directed in the instructions. You will not be able to serve the cups right away because the pudding will need to set up in the refrigerator for at least 4-5 hours before serving. Once set enjoy your delicious and dreamy snack.

How to Make My High Protein Dirt Cups

  1. Start by adding all of the ingredients into a bowl and whisk them together until smooth and silky.
  2. Then blend the brownie thins into crumbly cookie crumbs.
  3. Start layering the two into 4 clear 6 oz plastic cups.
  4. First a layer of cookie crumbs.
  5. Then a layer of protein mousse using a cookie scoop to get even layers.
  6. Add another layer of cookie crumbs.
  7. And another layer of mousse.
  8. Then one more layer of cookies and top with some delicious gummy worms. I like using Smart Sweets gummy worms because they are free of artificial sweeteners and are made with safe and clean ingredients.
  9. Serve right away and enjoy.
