If you like Starbucks seasonal pumpkin latte you'll love this Pumpkin Latte Protein Smoothie. It is packed full of protein, real pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice. Its so filling and nutrient dense that you can have it for breakfast, lunch or as an after dinner dessert. It's refine sugar free as well and we all want that!

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 16 oz Glasses
  • 1 Espresso Machine
  • 1 whip cream dispenser
  • 1 No2 Cartridge

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons Organic Coffee Beans
  • 2 Medjool Dates Pitted
  • 8 oz Whole A2 milk or dairy free alternative like Malk or Elmhurst brand of nut milk
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 teaspoon Unsalted Almond Butter or nut butter of choice
  • ¼ teaspoon Organic Pumpkin Pie Spice or cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Organic Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 scoops Just Ingredients Just Plain Protein Powder or other vanilla based protein powder
  • 1 handful Ice

Topping (Optional)

  • Homemade Whipping Cream recipe in notes
  • Additional sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice optional
  • Organic Pumpkin Seeds

Instructions
 

  • Start by placing two Medjool dates, pitted in a small bowl of boiling water. Let them soak for 10 minutes.
  • Next grind 2 tablespoons of organic coffee beans and brew a double shot of espresso according to your espresso maker.
  • To a blender add the milk, nut butter, pumpkin pure, pumpkin pie spice, banana, protein powder, double shot of espresso, two soaked dates and a handful of ice.
  • Pour the Pumpkin Latte Protein Smoothie into a large glass and top with homemade whip cream, more pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin seeds.
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes

For fresh whipped cream topping add 1 cup of heavy cream, 2 teaspoons of pure maple syrup and a splash of pure vanilla extract to a professional grade whip cream dispenser. Attach a N02 cartridge per dispenser directions, shake 10-12 times and use. Store leftover in the fridge to use for up to 7 days.
